Changing Terminal Settings

Changing the Default Password

We strongly recommend that you change your default password to prevent unwanted access and processing to your equipment. To change the default password, please follow the steps below.

  • Press #
  • Press 6 for Security
  • Press 2 for PW Params
  • Press 2 for PWSup (for user type: supervisor)
  • Enter the new password. It must be 7 characters long and contain one letter. To create a letter, press the corresponding number key and press F to cycle through letters.
  • Press the green OK
  • Press red X to go back to the welcome screen

You must follow the steps above for each user type.

Adjusting the Backlight

In order to adjust the backlight settings of your Ingenico Telium terminal, follow the steps below

  • Press #
  • Enter manager password if it asks (see Merchant Handbook)
  • 3 for setup menu
  • 5 or 6 for Term Settings
  • 5 for Term HW
  • 3 for Backlight
  • Select your option:
    • Always off
    • Always on
    • on/key press

Changing Font Size for Printed Reports

US Merchants Only
Please note that these instructions apply to US Merchants only

To increase the font size that prints out on your detailed summary report, please follow the instructions below:

  • Press #
  • Press 3 for Setup Menu
  • Press 4 for Reports
  • Press 1 for Fonts
  • Select 2 for Normal Font (the terminal by default is set to ‘Small Font')
  • Press red X until you return at the terminal home screen

Changing the Language

Press F4 on your Ingenico Telium Terminal to change the language.

Changing Key Sound Settings

If you would like to change the key sound setting on your Ingenico iCT220, iCT250, iWL220 or iWL250 machines, follow the steps below:

  • Press #
  • Enter password (see Merchant Handbook)
  • Press 3 for Setup Menu
  • Press 5 or 6 for Term Settings
  • Press 5 for Term HW
  • Press 1 for KeyBeep
  • Change to desired option:
    • 1 - All Off
    • 2 - All On
    • 3 - Invalid Only
